Stacie and Johnny were married on 1st April at Glasgow Art Club and were planning their wedding for 6 months. Huge thanks to the ever fantastic Carole-Ann from Harper Scott Photography for sharing her images of this epic city wedding. You can catch Carole-Ann on her website, Facebook or Instagram.
"There are so many moments that stand out: our first look photo shoot; the beautiful ceremony, which we contributed to; our short escape to the artists’ studio; and our joint address — one guest even commented that we were like Ant and Dec (Stacie is originally from Newcastle). But our epic penultimate dance to Bob Dylan’s ‘Hurricane’ might top them all! Who knew that an eight and a half minute protest song from the 1970s would allow us to throw some amazing shapes?!"
Raving about Scotland's best weddings, and the inspiration around them.
Welcome to Braw Brides! My name is Heather and this is my blog about the best of Scotland's weddings. It's a great place to find inspiration for your own wedding, or just to have a nosy!
Braw Brides has been around for a few years, but we've relaunched with a new site in time for the 2016 wedding season, and there's lots of new stuff to get excited about! We'll have some monthly contributions from Emma Brady and Euan Robertson, who are going to be blogging their experiences as they plan their respective weddings! Also, the entire blog is now a fully tagged and searchable resource, which means it's a great place to research different interpretations of your own wedding styles.
We're also putting together a great community of Scottish suppliers (#teamBB!) who are eager to help you make your wedding day perfect. We're assembling a great list of trusted, high quality and friendly suppliers to give you inspiration, hopefully championing some lesser known but high quality suppliers in the process.
I'd love to hear from you about your own wedding plans, and to help out in any way I can, so don't be shy about getting in touch to chat weddings!
