We are the blogging bride and groom. Much like the fellowship of the ring, we're going on an adventure, although hopefully with much less walking. Making the first step in the wedding planning process can be daunting but we've found that it's actually been really fun, and reading this blog has helped to inspire us along the way, so we hope we can do the same for you.
Vanessa and Chris were married on 31st October at Rosslyn Chapel and had their reception at Oxenfoord Castle. They got engaged at the ‘Day of the Dead’ festival in Mexico in 2013 and decided to get married on Halloween 2015. Massive thanks to the lovely Maureen du Preez for sharing her photos of the day with us. You can catch Maureen on her website, Facebook and Instagram.
Raving about Scotland's best weddings, and the inspiration around them.
Welcome to Braw Brides! My name is Heather and this is my blog about the best of Scotland's weddings. It's a great place to find inspiration for your own wedding, or just to have a nosy!
Braw Brides has been around for a few years, but we've relaunched with a new site in time for the 2016 wedding season, and there's lots of new stuff to get excited about! We'll have some monthly contributions from Emma Brady and Euan Robertson, who are going to be blogging their experiences as they plan their respective weddings! Also, the entire blog is now a fully tagged and searchable resource, which means it's a great place to research different interpretations of your own wedding styles.
We're also putting together a great community of Scottish suppliers (#teamBB!) who are eager to help you make your wedding day perfect. We're assembling a great list of trusted, high quality and friendly suppliers to give you inspiration, hopefully championing some lesser known but high quality suppliers in the process.
I'd love to hear from you about your own wedding plans, and to help out in any way I can, so don't be shy about getting in touch to chat weddings!
We are a husband and wife team & we love nothing more then to create beautiful photos of your day as it unfolds. Our style is full of light, romantic and natural. None of that cheesy stuff but more of who you are as a couple and who you both are to your friends and family! Oh and we love a good tree, well Chantal is slightly obsessed! So we are eco friendly as well.
Design is my true love and there is no better way to express it than helping you and your true love get married! I’ll work with you to create bespoke wedding stationery and gifts that reflect your own unique and personal style.
