>> Sunday 15th April | BAaD Glasgow
The Braw Brides Wedding Workshop is a bi-annual event, which encourages brides and grooms-to-be to come along and meet experienced, creative and alternative wedding suppliers in a no-pressure, conversation-led environment, to 'workshop' their own weddings and to gain inspiration and ask questions. We like to offer a program of live demos, collaborations, and interactive exhibits where possible - at past events we've had exhibitors who have put on photography roundtable discussions, live sketching demonstrations for fashion designers and cake makers, make-up and hair demos, calligraphy, and even brush lettering on biscuits! Whilst the Wedding Workshops are not billed as traditional wedding fayres, and the idea is to offer a completely different and constructive experience to about-to-weds, it's an environment that has consistently led to sales and bookings for our exhibitors.
So - we're planning the fifth Braw Brides Wedding Workshop for Sunday 15th April this year at the courthouse in BAaD Glasgow (Barras Art and Design)! The event will once again be free to the public.
We're hoping to put on our most interactive workshop ever - so all exhibitors should be contributing something interactive in nature, even if that's just a willingness to field questions on a specific (pre-advertised) aspect of the attendee's wedding when they visit you at your stall. The plan is to advertise everybody's interactive live selling point on an itinerary-style document that the public will see. We don't have to reinvent the wheel here - but the idea is to bring in people who want to truly workshop their own wedding, for free help and advice. So - think about what you are able to contribute to the public as far as any aspect of wedding planning advice, help, demos, etc. as this will be a key element of the promotion.
The Wedding Workshop has a strong emphasis on the bespoke, alternative and artisan nature of our suppliers. We're looking to target an audience of brides who are discerning, creative, and willing to look at out-of-the-box options for their wedding day.
>> Cost of Exhibiting
Cost of exhibiting will be £65 per supplier for a floor space, £75 per supplier for a small table, and £90 for a larger 4ft trestle table. Please note that exhibition spots are only available to members of the #teamBB directory.
Because it's a bi-annual event, priority will be given to businesses who didn't exhibit at the last workshop, so that we can offer a greater variety of exhibitors to the public including any repeat visitors.
