"Tyninghame Beach is awesome! We went walking there at Christmas time and were struck by the possibilities. A camping wedding in Scotland, what could possibly go wrong?"
"We enjoyed the social engineering and match-making on the table plans during planning! We were both fully immersed in the planning process."
"I found my dress online - a sheath gown with a halter neck by Vera Wang, a marabou feather jacket and I had a cream lace dress by The Kooples as a ceilidh back-up. Olly’s outfit was more expensive than mine! He had a beautiful Harris Tweed kilt made by Howie at 21st Century Kilts."
"The whole day was amazing, we had so much fun. The sun came out just before our ceremony on the beach (perfect timing!) , the food (by Jo’s Kitchen in Haddington) was just incredible, and the Greater Spotted Ceilidh band were epic. Having all our best pals and family in one of our fave spots was magical."
"We made the aisle on the beach on Saturday morning, we’d collected wild flowers from the local area and commandeered all hands on deck to rustle up something out of thin air. Olly surprised me with a funny song in the speeches too."
"Our friend brought a drone to do some filming and asked us to take a walk on the beach as the sun set. We went to our make-shift aisle and then managed to fall over on each other, caught on hi-def drone cam."
"My advice is delegate!! Parents can be very helpful in this regard."
