Samantha and Tobias were married on 26th July at The Flodigarry Hotel on the Isle of Skye. They were planning their wedding for about a year. Huge thanks to the adventurous Carole-Ann of Harper Scott Photography for sharing her amazing images of the day. You can catch Carole-Ann on her website, Facebook or Instagram.
"We wanted a small, intimate wedding and The Flodigarry was perfect. The hotel itself is beautiful and the scenery is breathtaking."
"We pretty much worked as a team. We arrived for the ceremony on our bikes which was great fun! Arriving on the bikes was Tobi’s idea."
"I was very lucky, the first dress I tried on was the one!"
"Our ceremony was Civil. The registrar came to the hotel. It was lovely as Meg was a friend of Tobi’s late mother so it made the ceremony very special."
"The whole day was fabulous, but I really enjoyed going up to the Quiraing for the photos just after the ceremony. Our wedding was very simple with family as guests. We had a great time as the family had arranged some wedding games. One involved my husband wearing a blindfold and me directing him to hidden wine bottles with roses in them (all of which we successfully located). Another involved me wearing a blindfold and having to pick out my husband’s legs from a line up, obviously I got it right (I know my husband’s knees). Our family also performed a small show for us about how we met and fell in love."
" I don’t have a particular memory that stands out. I just remember it being the happiest I have ever felt."
"Just have fun and try to keep it simple and avoid stress."
"I handmade the stationery, which I really enjoyed. We also had a wooden jigsaw puzzle for a guestbook, which was perfect for the amount of guests we had."

"All of our suppliers provided first class service, which made our day very special. The hotel staff catered to our every need and were very patient when we were late starting the meal (after disappearing to the Quiraing for photos). The food was excellent (many thanks to Hector, Taylor and the rest of the team). The flowers and cake were perfect. Our photographer was exceptional, Carole-Ann captured our day just how we had hoped. It was all very natural. Although we were aware of her being part of our day, we were never really aware of her taking photos which resulted in really natural images. I absolutely love them all! We couldn’t have hoped for anything more."
