"We got engaged underneath the Telford Bridge in Craigellachie which is in view from the hotel. We had viewed several venues in the area but The Craigellachie's laid back style was more 'us'."
"We were happy when the planning was all over, we both found it quite stressful! However, seeing it all come together on the day was amazing. David's input was mainly 'I don't know... you decide'!"
"My dress was a Maggie Sottero gown from Avorio Bridal Shop, Fochabers. I also found trying to find a dress stressful. I visited five shops and Avorio on several occasions, in the end I ordered in a sample I'd seen online and ended up going with that one. I knew what style of dress I was looking for but found it hard to find one that had all the elements I wanted in the one dress. The one thing I was sure about was my Rachel Simpson mint green mimosa shoes!"
"David's favourite part of the day was getting married. Mine was relaxing after the ceremony and spending sometime alone together for the photographs and also the meal!"
"I loved the beautiful flowers by Wild Blossom Floristry and the set up of the room and seeing it all come together. David's favourite detail was the cakes!"
"Davids clearest memory was saying 'I do'. Mine was getting ready, walking down the aisle and the speeches."
"Make sure you plan the day exactly how you want it as a couple and what feels right for you, not how others or traditions dictate it should be."
