Becky + Jack were married on 21st April at Ballogie House. They were planning their wedding for only a couple of months. Heroes! Huge thanks to Rebecca Rose Noller for sharing her Images with us. You can reach Rebecca Rose on her website, Facebook or Instagram.
"This is the one and only venue we looked at, we had booked a viewing to try to get the planning process started and when we went to have a look around it was perfect. It's in a beautiful part of Aberdeenshire and very close to Glen Tanar Estate where we regularly run and indeed nipped out together on the morning of our wedding to go for a run and then a coffee and a scone at a local farm shop. Perfect location!"
"The minimal planning was my favourite part of the process! It all slotted together, we booked the first venue we saw, first florist, first caterer and didn’t bother looking for others, I bought my dress off Ebay second hand but unworn and managed to find a great lady to alter it. The lady who did my hair was great after our original hairdresser fell through. One of the guests did my makeup last minute after it became clear I was making a hash of it! Despite the lack of planning everything was perfect and I couldn’t have asked for better.
"Jack was equally disorganised but was forced to do some planning when the wedding coordinator pointed out an hour before the ceremony we hadn’t done a table plan and I was upstairs getting ready."
"I bought my wedding dress off Ebay second hand, it looked lovely in the pictures and I wasn’t disappointed. Gloria Valentine, the seamstress in Aberdeen, did an excellent job of fitting it and mending any imperfections. It meant that on the day I didn’t need to be precious about wearing it yet I still felt like a bride. This was great for our photos as we were in the woods and by the river. I found quite a few twigs in the train of my dress the next day."
"We had a Civil ceremony outside which was a good fit for us."
"I felt a real weight of expectation and worry that the wedding would disappoint family and friends, I felt after ten years we needed to ‘tick the box’ but I enjoyed absolutely every minute of it."
"I’m sadly not a crafty person but knowing us well and knowing I wouldn’t get round to organising it myself our family and friends did lots. My favourite was a small pamphlet made by one of our guests which had pictures of Jack and I from childhood onwards outdoors and at lots of places we loved where we’ve been together."
"Bundling into the car and going down to the river to get our photos taken and laughing constantly are my clearest memories."
"We wish we had gotten married sooner, it doesn’t need to be perfect and remember everyone is there to see you both get married. It's important to stay true to what you want and don’t get caught up in expectations of how a wedding should be."

"Val Morrison (Beechmill House, Kemnay, Inverurie) who provided our catering was exceptional. Also a large part of why things went so smoothly was thanks to Helen Knowles the wedding coordinator at Ballogie Estate who was exceptionally calm and professional at all times."
