a stunning scottish wedding at stucktaymore house featuring a harris tweed suit

Scott and Dennis were married on 4th September at Stucktaymore House at Loch Tay. They were planning their wedding for around a year. Enormous thanks to the ever talented Carole-Ann from Harper Scott for sharing her images with us. You can find her on her website, Facebook, or Instagram.

Dennis + Scott booked four hours coverage using Carole-Ann’s flexible hourly rate, I think it’s an ideal way of ensuring exceptional wedding photography without compromising; just look at all the details captured. Perfect.

“Stucktaymore House is amazing and the view is incredible. We chose the venue because it could offer us a relaxed wedding day. We didn’t want anything overly formal, but instead a relaxed few days with the freedom to do what we wanted.”

“Getting to choose the finer details was our favourite part of the planning process – what food we ate, the cake decoration, the flowers, etc. We were both equally involved!”

“It was pretty easy to find our outfits, we had a pretty clear idea of what we wanted. Dennis wore a three piece Harris Tweed suit and I wore a sky blue blazer and a navy two piece (waistcoat and trousers). We also wore matching Disney pins.”

“We both have the same favourite part of the day - our ‘first look’ and seeing each other all dressed up for the first time.”

“Marrying each other is our clearest memory!”

"The cake and the flowers are our favourite details. The cake blew us away! We also did all of the flowers ourselves. We spent a few days before the wedding rushing around Edinburgh collecting flowers for our table. It was great fun!”

“Stay calm, don’t stress and remember what the most important things are. You also don’t need to break the bank to get everything you want – be creative!”

“Carole-Ann from Harper Scott Photography was amazing! She really contributed to our day and made the whole photography process easy. We had a really small wedding and she did such a great job of capturing everything and everyone. Everyone at the wedding mentioned how friendly and professional she was. We couldn’t recommend her more! “
