The lovely Rhiannon from Rhiannon Neale Photography trekked to Glenshee with Amanda from The Floral Design Boutique and our very own Lesley from Pamper + Polish to create this shoot, just before we were hit by the beast from the East! You can catch Rhiannon on her website, Facebook + Instagram.
"Amanda & I coordinated this shoot together and had been planning it for months- waiting patiently for the perfect day to pair a romantic snowy atmosphere with the beautiful landscapes of the Scottish highlands."
"There is a magical feeling in the air when it snows and there is something that feels so intimate and cosy about two newlyweds cuddled up together in the snow with a vast mountain backdrop behind them."
"We chose a real couple rather than models for this shoot as we wanted the genuine intimacy of two people in love. Melissa & Ross were married last July and jumped at the chance to get some more photos together in a spot they'd never been to before and Melissa couldn't wait to wear her dress again!"
"When creating the flowers for this shoot I had to bear something in mind - the cold! Flowers like the cold but not sub zero temperatures so I opted for mostly foliage for the bridal bouquet with some eye popping blue anemones."
"The wigwam structure was inspired by the surrounding landscape. I wanted to create a focal piece that would stand out but also compliment the roaming mountains and trees surrounding the couple."
"Melissa has lovely waist length hair so Lesley decided to create a soft, feminine, detailed romantic style to show off her amazing hair and also to withstand an outdoor Highland wedding ceremony! I placed some fresh anemones & foliage at the side to compliment her hairstyle & add colour."
